How to Be Five Times More Creative
Technique #3– “Multichannel Thinking”
Ever wonder why some people can solve problems in a snap or come up with creative ideas almost instantly?
Chances are they’ve mastered the technique of using all their thinking “channels,” and not just the one or two that most people get by with. Now with the easy multichannel thinking exercises in my book (which I’ll explain in detail in later blog posts).
Most people are one-channel thinkers and go through life specializing in their favorite mental channel. Some are see-ers, others are hearers, and still others are feelers. The see-ers among us will see solutions to problems, hearers will talk them out, and feelers will work them out.
Even if you’re partial to one channel, you can actually prime your mind to think more creatively, solve problems, learn and apply new information quickly.
And, as an added bonus you’ll discover how multichannel thinkers use their skill to get along better with different types of people.
How about you? Tell me how being a multichannel thinker could help your business, and I may use you as an example in the step-by-step instructions to applying this techniques.
