Chapter 1
How to Use Triggers to Motivate Yourself to Enthusiastically, Effectively and Successfully Build Your Ideal Business.
Most high achievers did NOT achieve their success because they were so smart, but because they developed the inner power within them to go for the gusto. They learned how to keep stoking the fire in the belly. They kept their desire and passion burning.
When they were under pressure to perform well, they brought out their best. They performed at their peak.
Ask yourself this question. How successful are you right now? I guarantee you, whatever level of success you have achieved so far is more tied to your attitude than your aptitude. Success in business or any other playing field ultimately depends upon your emotional state.
Don’t you perform at your best when you are inspired, confident, eager and full of desire? These are the positive emotions.
The positive emotions motivate you, make you courageous and keep you going when the going gets tough. They are the fuel that drives you to achieve greatness. Desire is one of the positive emotions and the number one attitude you need for success. If you have “fire in your belly,” anything is possible.
What creates these positive emotions? There are internal and external forces called Triggers which create your mental state. For example, looking at your marriage album will arouse certain emotions and attitudes, usually positive ones.
If you look at your lover and remember the first time you decided he or she was the one for you, you will feel very positive about your lover.
If you remember time when you achieve something very important, these memories will trigger positive emotions than you.
By contrast, recalling the time you saw a red flashing light in your rearview mirror will be a negative trigger and put you in a bad mood.
Triggers can be positive or they can be negative. Either way, they have a huge impact on you.
Triggers push your buttons, so to speak. If you don’t understand Triggers, outside events will push your buttons. Understanding Triggers and how they work will enable you to push your own buttons.
Imagine the power this will give you, to be able to put yourself in a positive mood, to perform at your peak instantly.
Next time, let me tell your story that illustrates how Triggers work.
Meanwhile, Can you recall a time when a positive or negative trigger made all the difference? Let me know.

Great blog post about tuning into what inspires us unconsciously. Isn’t it true that there are people who are so determined to succeed that it’s impossible for them to fail? It’s so important to focus on the positive things that inspire us.
